About The Author
Roya O Kianpour
“I wish this were something they would teach us in schools,” she says, “because I wholeheartedly believe that the foundations of a life of success or failure, happiness or dissatisfaction, rest in the mind, and all too often go unnoticed or underutilized. These are practical concepts that ought to be taught from early on in life, in schools, in homes, and in popular culture!”
Our mind’s primary purpose is to protect us! If left to its own devices, however, it will rely on negative self-talk to do the job. The only way to overcome negative thoughts and negative self-talk is to replace them with new thoughts, new ideas about who we are and what we want to achieve.
“I only wish I could have known more about these concepts before I began raising my kids!” Thankfully, it’s never too late to begin to cultivate and harness this Power, and I started teaching my kids these concepts as I began learning them myself. I earnestly hope that readers will be inspired by the ideas set forth in this book and take away from it a new self-knowledge and a practical roadmap for traversing the mind. And, most of all, I hope this will inspire and teach our youth about the mind and the importance of mindset, so that as they grow, they know how to deal with the most powerful force in the world effectively: their own minds.
